What began as a terrible pun has evolved into something much, much more.
To gain a better appreciation of the world we live in means that we need to pay attention to the things we might normally ignore. The TTC’s dirty subway trains; the industrial landscape on a lakeshore; the family pets that have been posed and photographed time and time again – if we begin to look at these in a different light, we might be able to understand the beauty that can come from them.
Amber and I have created this space to upload photographs we’ve captured through our smartphone cameras. These aren’t just any photos, however – they represent the excitement and beauty that we experience in our day-to-day lives. Bite-sized snapshots that help us stop and really look at the things around us. This is the meaning of life in the world of Phonetography.
